Katy Perry Goes Blonde!

So our fav dark-haired diva has decided ditch her black locks and go blonde for summer.

Yep, K-Pez has hit the bottle... of bleach that is to become a light-haired beauty.

She's recently been seen sporting ginger locks while in the process of stripping her hair of the dye to achieve her blonde ambitions, but debuted an even lighter look last night at the premiere for 'The Smurfs' film in New York.

She teamed her new 'do with a smurf dress AND nails (talk about going for it).

The star tweeted this morning that she'd be dying her hair for ten hours, saying:

"I have been dying my hair since 10pm! Good GOD let me get to my destination tonight! #beenblack #beenblue #beenhotginge #beenblonde #now..."

Eek, wonder what it will be next!

THE GIRLS GET GLITTERY FOR THE GRAMMYS

It was all about the sparkles at the Grammy Awards last night with a host of stars favouring metallic and jewel-encrusted dresses.

Katy Perry went extravagent in a floor-length white gown complete with wings and a bejewelled silver bra. While youngsters Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez both looked stunning in gold numbers.

American Idol Judge J-Lo looked absolutely fantastic in a sparkly silver dress, whereas LeAnn Rimes looked rather on the skeletal side in her gold gown.

Jennifer Hudson was showing of her newly-svelte figure, looking gorgeous in a black and silver dress, while Ciara showed off her amazing body in a revealing blue gown.

Nicole Kidman also wowwed the crowds in her fishtail frock while Florence Welch represented us Brits in a stunning swan-inspired dress.

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj chose to go for more wacky outfits- with RiRi rocking a barely-there white dress that looked like it was made out of pipecleaners, and Nicki dressed in head-to-toe leopard print complete with crazy wig.

CELEBS LOVE: BODYAMR

Wanna know where all the celebs get their lovely dresses from..?

Well look no further than Omani-born designer Amr (pronounced Armour)- the man behind luxury label BodyAmr.

Just lately, the red carpets, award shows and even the X-Factor have seen some of the hottest celebs wearing his trademark sparkly dresses.

The designer told Vogue.com about the amazing reaction to Miss Cheryl Cole wearing one of his designs, saying:

"The phones were ringing off the hook with everyone wanting to know where they could buy it after Cheryl wore it."

As well as Cheryl, he has seen his designs on the likes of Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue and Florence Welch, who he dressed for her much-anticipated VMA performance, which he said he was "so excited" about.

He comments: "She [Florence] not only is a great ambassador for the brand, but also a huge support to young British talent.”

Friday's Fierce Female: Katy Perry

Okay, I'm starting a regular feature here on 'The Fash'... every Friday I am going to be bringing you a 'fierce female' which is basically a profile of someone who I think has been working it each week...

I'll take a look back at their fashion choices and find out why they are just so damn fierce!

The first 'fierce female' is Katy Perry!

So why is KP just so FIERCE?!

Well, first of all, she's the daughter of a vicar, who is now known for getting naked, kissing girls and dressing in rubber- if that's not fierce, I don't know what is?!

Yes, as well as all those shenanigans, Miss Perry is also fun and quirky and doesn't care what anyone else thinks about her.

She dresses like a cartoon, has a real body (with actual curves) and has a fringe so short it's barely even there- and guess what- she looks amazing!!

The thing about this girl is that she has confidence. It's the key to her sucess and has enabled her to get pretty much anything she wants- I mean, she's even tamed the once serial shagger Russel Brand; that's an achievement in itself!

As well as all that she has a damned good voice and has released many good tunes- including the recent 'Calafornia Gurls'. Is there anything this wonderwoman can't do?!

I doubt it!

Fashion Spesh': Coachella

It's meant to be about the music... but really all anyone wants to know about at the Coachella festival is what everyone's wearing...

Yes the stars were out to impress at the LA fest this weekend while rocking-out to some great music in the sun.

Katy Perry was there is yet another revealing outfit and her trademark sunnies, model Agyness Deyn rocked up with a freshly shaved head, sex-shamed Peaches Geldoff wore her usual 'shabby-chic' while Kate Bosworth and Anne Hathaway turned up with the best accesory of all- a new man on their arms!

Beyonce, as usual, looked gorgeous is an off-the-shoulder top, ripped demin shorts and a trilby. She wowwed the crowd as she performed with hubby Jay-Z on his track 'Forever Young'.

Meanwhile Kelly Osbourne looked a bit of a mess with her purple do, as The City star Whitney Port got pretty naked. 300 Days Of Summer star Zoey Dechanel looked cute in blue as she played with a tambourine.

Usually, I can not praise Katy Perry enough for her outfits. I love her outlandish style and the way she's brave enough to wear even the wackiest of ensembles. But I'm afraid this get-up is a big miss!

Although the dress is gorgeous, she looks like she's about to fall out of it. Not a classy look.

I mean I know she's rocking it for the women with real boobs and showing what she's got- but it's just a bit TOO much.

And the lilac platforms just aren't doing it for me I'm afraid... the colour is just sooo washed-out it makes me feel a bit sick!

Katie was wearing the outfit while announcing nominations at the Grammy Awards, where fellow diva Beyonce was nominated for TEN awards!

That girl is on fire! I only wish Katy's outfit was too...

Katy gets her style from Agyness and Dita

Katy Perry has revealed to of her most influential style icons- Agyness Deyn and Dita Von Teese.

The host of tonight's MTV European Music Awards told Digital Spy:

"There are two people I really like and I probably 'borrow' their style a little too much - Agyness and Dita.

"I'm not strictly like a 1940s pin-up girl because I don't have that kind of dedication so I kinda give it a little twist.

"It's a little punk rock and a little Lolita, it's a little retro, it's
a little '80s. Just fun. It makes people smile, I think."

We'll just have to wait and see how many outifts the 'I Kissed a Girl' singer wears tonight after she wore TEN outfits whilst hosting last years ceremony.
