FIRST LANVIN FOR H&M, NOW VALENTINO FOR GAP
There are major collaborations happening right now between the differnet spectrums of the fashion world...
First we had Lanvin designing for H&M, now legendary Italian label Valentino have designed a collection for the home of 'american casual' Gap.
The collection is part of Gap celebrating it's first store in Milan.
I must say, I was quite surprised when I heard the news- seeing as the two labels are just so vastly different and wasn't sure it could quite work...
And does it?
Well, for me, I'm afraid not.
I know I should be jumping on the bandwagon saying how 'amazing' it is, because everyone else is, but it's really not that good in my opinion.
It's basically casual clothes, just with a few frills- literally.
I don't know about you, but if I'm going to go casual, I just keep it simple, otherwise it just doesn't work.
Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli hope the designs will help the label appeal to 'a new younger generation of women'.

CHECK OUT WHITNEY!
Former 'The City' star Whitney Port looked absolutely gorgeous last night at the opening of the new In Add Minus store in LA last night...
She opted for sleek and sexy straight hair instead of her usual waves which framed her face perfectly.
The budding fashion designer also got her style right; dressing satin kaki-green trousers with a grey tee, leather jacket and sparkly orange shoes.
Gossip Girl actresses Jessica Schzor and Michelle Trachtenberg were also there to bring some glamour to the red carpet; Michelle in a deep-plum, off-the-shoulder mini-dress and Jessica wearing a satin LBD teamed with leopard-print ankle boots.

KARL LAGERFIELD NAMES HAIDER ACKERMANN AS POSSIBLE SUCCESSOR AT CHANEL
Yes legendary designer Karl Lagerfield has hinted that Mr Ackermann may be the next head designer at Chanel, telling Numero magazine:
"I have a contract for life so it all depends on who I would like to hand it to. At the moment I'd say Haider Ackermann."
Mr Ackermann, who was hinted to be Martin Margiela's successor at Maison, was invited to Chanel's latest show in Paris, by none other than Lagerfield himself.
He was thrilled at the news, telling WWD:
"What can one possibly say to such a phrase?! Such a compliment! Honoured I feel, how can one not be?! In all honesty tremendously, immensely touched especially coming from Monsieur Lagerfeld."

This month's Elle cover is the stunningly beautiful Jessica Alba.
In her photoshoot, she is showing off that AMAZING figure in gorgeous girly pastel pinks and totally on-trend peach.
She's promoting her new film 'Little Fockers'- another spin-off from 'Meet The Parents' which again stars the fantastic Ben Stiller.
Talking about her comedic abilities she says:
"I'm shy, I don't like being the centre of attention. But when I do comedy, I lose all inhibition and introspection. I no longer care."
She also told how she pics her roles wisely now that she is a Mum saying:
"The time I'm not spending with my kid has to be worth it, so when I sat down with my agents after I was ready to go back to work, I told them: It's all about the directors".
Ahh what a lovely lady- and absolutely stunning too. Check out her gorgeous photoshoot below...

HOT ON THE RED CARPET THIS WEEK..
ANNE HATHAWAY...
She looked GORGEOUS on the red carpet last night for the premiere of her new film 'Love and Other Drugs'.
The 27-year-old slipped into a slinky white number which showed off her slender figure perfectly!
She was also sporting an on-trend middle parting which suited her face beautifully and went well with her tousled locks.
She was joined on red carpet by her co-star, the gorgeous Jake Gyllenhall, who admitted that they are 'pretty much naked for most of the movie'.
Sounds good to me!
